Sign in with ChatGPT
Enduragent ships without a model. If you already pay for ChatGPT, you can sign in with that account instead of creating an API key. This lane is experimental.
What you need
A paid ChatGPT plan. The lane signs in to a subscription, so a free ChatGPT account will not carry it. If you do not have a plan, the API key route is the way in, and it is almost certainly cheaper than buying a subscription for this.
Three steps
- Open setup in Enduragent Choose the ChatGPT sign-in lane.
- Sign in Your browser opens on OpenAI's own sign-in page. You type your password there, on their domain, not into Enduragent. Approve the request and the browser hands you back to the app.
- Done Nothing to paste and nothing to configure.
Experimental means experimental
This lane depends on how OpenAI's sign-in behaves, which is outside our control and can change without notice. When it changes, the lane can stop working until Enduragent catches up.
The nine API-key providers are the route that does not move. If you want a setup you never have to think about, use a key.
Where the sign-in is stored
On your own machine, in a file Enduragent writes. There is no Enduragent account and no server, so there is nowhere else for it to be. Signing out of the app removes it. Changing your ChatGPT password ends it the same way it would end any other session.

If you already pay for ChatGPT, the marginal cost of this lane is zero, and that is the whole argument for it. If you do not, buy nothing and use a key.
